Each year, I wrap my Christmas gifts in different color themes. I also change my Christmas tree decorations to add a new color to the mix. It’s fun and challenging to find a unique new color scheme each year and the results are beautiful.
Here are some unique ways to wrap those special gifts for your family and friends.
The Artistic package
This technique uses colorful wax crayon shavings between layers of tissue paper (use 3 on the top and 3 on the bottom). Iron the tissue paper until the wax melts.
What a great idea!
Alternative Tape
Instead of fancy ribbon, try one of the decorative packaging tapes in colors and graphic patterns to add a new twist to wrapping.
Ship with Candy
Cushion your presents with candy instead of Styrofoam popcorn. Not only is it eye catching, but a fun extra treat for the receiver!
Let it Snow
Just use a rubber stamp and white ink to give your packages a handmade touch.
Wrapped in Nature
Adorn the top of a package with pinecones, acorns or holly to add dimension and flair to any package.
Cookies
Use new or vintage cookie cutter as nametag holder as an embellishment. What a useful addition to any gift.
Peace Sign
During this season of joy and peace on earth, this embellishment sends a timeless message for any age.
Go Bold
With color that is. This year bold, fun colors are in and what a great way to play on the traditional red and green wrapping of the Christmas color palette.
Monogram It
Use rubber stamps to initial your packages. Stamp the gifts with the recipients first initial and handing out gives will be a breeze.
Santa Gifts
With a little red, black and gold paper, you can make your own Jolly Santa gifts.
Paint Chip Spots
With some plain wrapping paper and a handful of paint chips, you can string along these colorful dots for a unique, hue-inspired package.
