In November, Disney launched the premiere of their newest princess movie, Sofia the First. My five-year old daughter and all of her friends were mesmerized by the trailer and the constant tease of the previews, so I thought it would be fun to host a premiere party at our house so the girls could watch the movie together. Plus, it gave the moms a chance to chat and enjoy a glass of wine while the girls were occupied. Today, the movie became a series on Disney Junior, so I thought it fitting to share the images from our premiere party. I hope they inspire you to host your own princess party!
In keeping with the colors fom the logo (seen above), I set a whimsical, princess-like table adorned in shades of purple and gold, complete with apothecary jars filled with candy and treats that the girls were able to take home in treat bags.
